adam6604 Posted March 17, 2011 Report Share Posted March 17, 2011 anyone know of a place that would happen to make a bracket for 2 alternators in my 98' dodge ram 1500? my dads a mechanic and runs a shop so i get a good discount on stock alternators.. so i thought why not try to run two? Driving my 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 MEGA cab with the 5.7 hemi. Audio: Two 10" Alpine Type R's ( 1000rms models ) Hifonics BRZ 2400.1D @ .5 ohm Two Kinetic 1400 batteries ( soon to have XS power under hood ) Tsunami 1/0 Awg wire throughout truck. Stock Infinity 7 speaker system ( Junk ) soon to be replaced, probably all Alpine. Exterior: 17"Dick cepek rims with 33" Toyo MT tires Bushwacker fender flares Magnaflow true duel exhaust LED tail lights with Projector headlights Plasti-dip fun coming soon! bass_stalker Posted March 17, 2011 Report Share Posted March 17, 2011 im not sure if dc makes dual alt brackets, uh you could ask a local machine or fabrication shop if you have the bracket designed or get a blueprint for one. or if you can work with metal you could make one yourself. the challenge would be getting a belt to run it or designing it for maximum efficiency.
