Look at mids from B&C or 18sound and match with a HLCD horn.

Thanks but thoes are just a hair out of my price range when buying 16 of them

Unless you are just going for the look, you really dont need 16 mids.

I have one 10" mid in my front door and one 8" mid in my rear door and they keep up plenty with over 150db.

Always best to have one source, IMO.

Now if it's just for the look of a shit load of drivers in your door, well.........never mind. lol

If you're wanting crazy loud, that's not going to do it. They're full range woofers so they're not very efficient compared to other mids. Two of the Daytons would be much louder. Not to mention I've heard some bad reviews about their clarity and issues with muddiness.

Can some one tell me which speaker will sound better and louder based on the specs ?
