Breaking In Subs

Hey guys I really didn't see anything on how to break in subs as a sticky on here, but I may have missed it. I have my 4 tens in my Cavi and want to break them in cause I know they will perform better broken in. They are probably only seeing 90 watts a peice, but will be getting more power when I get a new amp. I am saving and have like 65 right now.

play them a lot? i dont think theres like a write-up on how to break in subs, all you have to do is just play them. once they break in you will be able to play them louder for a longer period of time.

cool

How long they been running off 90wrms?

just hooked them up last night

what i normally do is just keep the gain down for a while let them get a little lose then adjust gains again...

yea when I first played them I had a smell and I thought i fucked them up but I called tech support and he said you will have that smell until they are broken in.
