fecupe2001
It´s a big ass SUV, i would say your peak should be right around 48-50 hz at the most, i dunno about your tahoe but my explorer HATES anything tuned past the 41 hz mark, if i were you, i would tune the box no more than 41 hz , subs up/port back it´s a proven kick ass box for SUV´s. I would shoot for around 160 SQ of port and 14-15" long , that would give you around 41 hz tuning and maybe 4.7 c/f per sub, that´s one big ass box for burps if you ask me, but if you already built it then just try it Quote I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains. If I was peaking at 48-50hz what do you think I should turn to? If I was peaking at 48-50hz what do you think I should turn to? I love Aeros, they work very nice, but there are cars that work better with slot, and if i remember correctly, the tahoe it´s louder with a big ass slot port on the center of the box!!! I wouldn´t tune the box higher than 41 hz my friend, but that´s just me Quote I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains. Kian
AEROS FTMFW i'm using an 8" sewer pipe. with a 12" steel punched flare in and out. 51HZ do you have access to a termlab? cause your gonna need to find your cars resonate frequency. my box is only 1.6 cubes and its with a Fi BTL 15" if you do have access to a termlab, you should buy clay or wood to mold in the box to use more cubes/take more volume out, bigger box is not always louder. Build the Box as bix as you can and shrink from there. i would start at 5 cubes Also what kinda vehicle?
