Whats your box tuned to? 31/32ish test frequencies are 20, 25, 33, 40 and peak, which is 36. i know playing below tuning is bad etc etc, and i dont play 20 hz tones daily, its on ocasions, and have never had any propblems with any other subs doing the same thing. and if it was down to the tone, then y did only 1 sub go??? Lmao Also if your ports on one side and built wrong one sub could still have back pressure while the other one just free air's. Im pretty sure if the sub "bottomed out" he'd know.. because correct me if Im wrong, but the entire suspension would fail resulting in it "bottoming out."
