You could lay foil down and make a "Mold" essentially, and them FG T-Nuts into the "base" and mechanically attatch it, or just drill frequent 1/4" holes in the panel to allow resin to penetrate, and anchor down. Just adding, First method with nuts is nice if you need to remove the pod, or messed up pod during the process, otherwise trying to get fiberglass soaked through to the other side of the panel off is going to be a bitch.
