MACnonsence6 Posted April 16, 2011 Report Posted April 16, 2011 i wana do a 18" sub with an 18" pr from psi but im wondering would the 18 pr negate the other one becouse when the 18 sub goes out the pr goes in? or would it double my output? I picked up an MTX Sw1212 powered subwoofer today. This thing sounds amazing. 130 watts, 12" woofer with a passive 12" woofer tuned to 27 hz. Moving the pictures on the walls and my girl got wet from the bass when i showed her haha. Tonight should be good haha.
zayres29 Posted April 16, 2011 Report Posted April 16, 2011 it wouldnt negate and it wouldnt double your output its somewhere in the middle but from what i understand pr boxes have to be specially designed for pr you cant just slap one in a normal box and call it a day.... again i may be wrong about that but better safe than sorry id do a little bit more research about pr systems so you would have a better understanding on how they work because i myself dont know much specifically about them Btw that was the first person. Ever banned by me while dropping a deuce. Feel privileged
