Reaper uk Posted April 16, 2011 Report Posted April 16, 2011 ive got a set of jbl components, and i quite like the look of the X-overs....... now, am i okay to have the x-overs in the boot (trunk?) and have longer wires going tot he tweeters and woofers? my mids and highs amp is in the boot see, and i wanna mount the x-overs underneath it. thanks.

Because you will have to run the same length of wire reguardless. the only downside i can see is ill use twice the amount of wire per side, abut its only 90p a meter anyway, for decent oxygen free copper wire. cheers dude, ill make up some sort of mount for them now
