Ok, im selling my 2 12" alpine type R's to a kid i go to BOCES with for 450 bucks. for the amp and the box and 2 subs. so..now i have 450 bucks to spend on equipment. Im looking for something thats louder than my 2 12" type r's and i would perfer a 15" or a 18" or whatever u guys think would be louder. So can someone give me opinions of what sub(s) to get and what amp to get? all the help is highly apretiated.

450 isnt much to spend. you could get a fi ssd 18" dual 1 ohm and an amp something like this http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_9723_P...+PS1-2000D.html

thats not bad at all...but would 450 bucks get me the sub that amp and money to buy wood and screws?

and for that ssd...what configurations should i pu on it? flatwind coil copper coil bp power?

whats your zip?

the amp would be 211.83 the sub w/ out options would be 239 which would come out to 450.83

if you wire it series up to 1.5 ohms it should be fine on that amp with no options.
