bumonskateboard6
Can't be too different than a regular multimeter...what do you need to measure? If it's your amp settings set it to ACV (v with a little ~ above it), if it's your voltage in your car set it to DCV (v with a ___ and ---) above it, if it's resistance set it to ohms (Ω). Put the red test lead in the VΩ and the black lead into the COM. Low voltage doesn't blow amps. That's a myth. A router that does the sub holes makes rounded edges also?
Babyjuice
The dvc has 5 different settings (1500,200,20,2,200m) what do I do with that? Also the acv has 5 settings (1000,200,20,2,200m)...and the ohm has 7 settings(20m,2m,200k,20k,2k,200, and an arrow with a T above it) that's why I'm confused idk what to set it at BABYJUICE
bumonskateboard6
Well on DCV and ACV set it according to how many volts you're trying to measure. For example if you're measuring up to 200V set it at 200V, 200.1 will probably say error. In a car you shouldn't need DCV to be set above 20. ACV most likely you'll set at 200 to set an amplifier or do tests on a house. Ohms set at 200 I believe but don't remember because my TPI I use does it automatically. Just move through the ohms one till it shows what the coil's resistance should be, it'll either read error/ouch, or the resistance on the coil.
