so ive got this duel amp and im planning to use the high ins but i dont have the plugs so i was gona try and make my own plugs the + and - are labeled on the amp so i can get that right my question is where could i get these plugs instead of having to do this also can i wire the romote on instead of wiring the grounds on the high inputs

I picked up an MTX Sw1212 powered subwoofer today. This thing sounds amazing. 130 watts, 12" woofer with a passive 12" woofer tuned to 27 hz. Moving the pictures on the walls and my girl got wet from the bass when i showed her haha. Tonight should be good haha.

Let me try to rephrase this to something more understandable.

I have a Dual XPA4640 that I want to use for the door speakers, and I was going to use the high inputs, but I don't have the plugs to hook it up, so I was going to make the plugs myself. There is a + and - labelled on the amp, so that is easy enough to understand. My question is, where can I get plugs for these instead of having to make my own? Also, can I wire the remote wire on instead of wiring the grounds on the high inputs.

The XPA4640 uses two type of inputs, high level (speaker wire) and low level (RCA) inputs. The best solution is to run RCA cables from your head unit to your amplifier, but some people don't have RCA outputs on their headunit because they are older or they are stock. In that case, you can directly run the wires from the speakers directly into the amplifier via the high-level inputs, in the same way that a Line Output converter converts the signal. If you don't have the plugs though, you're kind of in a bind, because I don't know anywhere you can get 5-pin plugs for the inputs.

Maybe you can try asking your question again in a format that people will not kick you over a house to help us understand your (not as obvious) problem?

POTATO!

thank you for rewording my post my cd player has rca outs but there going to be used for on my ap1800 my cd player has settings to set the one pair of rca outs i have to do eather rear speakers or subwoofer. i could prolly make my own plug easy enough so i guess my question was if i use the high ins that have + - and ground on them instead of wiring the ground can i use the remote wire from my stereo to the remote of the amp

if you have rca's you could use an rca splitter or get a second amp with a line in and a line out.
