akrja_07 Posted April 29, 2011 Report Posted April 29, 2011 Ok, I decided to start a new thread since my entire design plan has changed, so here we go. 2001 Chevy Silverado ext cab 2 12" DC audio level 3 I want to build two separate boxes, one behind each seat that will hold 1 sub each. I want the ports firing up but i want them on the outer sides like this: It will be an "L" port so the second length of MDF will be running along the bottom of the box under the woofer. I am wondering if this is ok. Also, if someone could look over my box specs and tell me if I did it right for subs forward, port up running along side the outer sides of each box. 2001 Chevy Silverado Ext. cab - Kenwood KIV-BT901 - 2x 12" DC Audio level 3 m2D1 in 4.2 cuft. @29Hz. - DC Audio 2.0k - Alpine Type-X components - US Amps USA-4300x - XS Power D4700 - Bosch 145a alternator
akrja_07 Posted April 29, 2011 Author Report Posted April 29, 2011 Anybody have input? I am really just wanting to know if I did the port measurements right for subs forward and ports on top on the outer sides, and if the port positioning inside the box is ok with the way I will be mounting the woofer. Thanks!! 2001 Chevy Silverado Ext. cab - Kenwood KIV-BT901 - 2x 12" DC Audio level 3 m2D1 in 4.2 cuft. @29Hz. - DC Audio 2.0k - Alpine Type-X components - US Amps USA-4300x - XS Power D4700 - Bosch 145a alternator
