I recently finished the lighting in all the boxes and in the port. I chose SMD light strips with adhesice backing to get the job done. these are CHEAP over ebay but shipping from Hong Hong to New Hampshire took almost 3 weeks. got everything done now so heres what they look like.

This is how the lights are stuck to the back inside of all four cubbyholes

So far I love what I have done and I think this is almost how I'm going to leave it for a while. I'm going to buy a P400-4 soon withing the next few weeks and some more SMD strips for something else that's going to be secret. Awesome thing about the P400-4 is its some how the exact size of my skateboard rack back so I'll probably modify that a little to become an amp rack also.

So driving today I noticed that my bass was a little weird sounding and no anywhere near as loud. When I get home I find this

So i guess sometime all the screws got ripped out of the MDF. How this happened is beyond me. Simple Home Depot fix though. Grabbed 16 T-nuts and 16 2.5" bolts and problem solved. For whatever reason everything seems louder now too. maybe free airing these at 550w each for a few minutes had something to do with it? Beats me I'm far from pro at this stuff.

I drilled out the holes big enough for the T-nuts then used a channel lock to push them into the wood.

I decided to use a head that accepts both Phillips and flat head so no matter what i have i can take them out if needed.

In other build news I just ordered 4 meters of blue SMD lights and 4 meters of white SMD lights. More info on that once their done. Also I should be getting a decent sized bonus next paycheck so ill be getting a P400-4 with some 4 gauge wire and some 0 gauge for my R1000-1D.
