(all this is on partsexpress) but look at the Reference HF subs. The 12inch is 138. With 400watt rms. Decent sub. Then get a Bash300. 300watt rms plate amp for 149. Then build yourself a box. I am Poncho Posted May 3, 2011 Report Share Posted May 3, 2011 i would do a Dayton Audio RSS390HF-4 either with box mount plate amp. or more preferably a rack mount amp. box is going to be heavy enough as it is without adding a plate amp to it. if you want me to design you a HF(SQL) box, let me know.. btw i own this sub built a long throw PA/DJ style box for it. shit is LOUD! may have pic somewhere on here of it unfinished.. give me a minute.
