tsuch20 Posted May 3, 2011 Report Posted May 3, 2011 Ok can you list the actual RMS rating for these speakers. And if you plan on putting 10's and 12's together in the trunk. Bad idea. One or the other. All 4 dpa put out 460 max or 460rms>? tsuch20 Posted May 3, 2011 Report Posted May 3, 2011 but your gonna be putting them in a enclosed trunk the subs emit different waves which will end up fighting each other. Go with one or the other for the trunk. 230 RMS for the Dpa so each speaker is about 60rms So you need a 4channel amp that runs about 75rmsx4 And get your self a 300.1 mono amp for your subs and call it a day. dwright27 Posted May 3, 2011 Report Posted May 3, 2011 Speakers aren't what you should be worried about drawing current from your car electrical. Yes it's an end factor, but the amplifier is what you should be concerned with. Quote 2006 F-150 4 DC XL M2 18's Walled Daily Driver XS Power 4 DC 3.5kw Team DC Team S.P.L.
