Tub Asko Posted May 3, 2011 Report Posted May 3, 2011 I have an 07 Silverado. 5.3L. I want to get some headers and put an H pipe on it. Im just a noob when it comes to headers and don't know what to look for or what to get. What should I look into when ordering headers? Looking for performance gains not OE replacment Quote Facebook Youtube Murdered '07 Silverado

BiggBoi Posted May 4, 2011 Report Posted May 4, 2011 (edited) These would prob be a solid deal nice price. Look at me. 20 years of Chevy's i always do exhaust 1st, my biggest suggestion would def start with exhaust, headers, pipes, new wires/plugs (Accel makes a sexy iridium plug). IMO tuners are a waste of money. Go get dyno'd so u can real world test your settings (safely) there are also cheaper power mods(70$~.) Throttle body upgrade!! Throttle body spacer. COLD AIR INTAKE FOR THE WIN. KN is nice i also use there free flow oil filters! But Ive had better results (personally) with spectra kits. Alot cheaper good quality. Summit Racing has been my place for years good prices great customer svc. And "their brand" is really a known manufacturer in a summit box. Edited May 4, 2011 by BiggBoi Quote
