Jmoney2544
I Heard the Xs D3100 Can Provide up to 4-5k watts as a secondary battery. Ill be running a little under 3800 watts. i will have a optima redtop up front and a d3100 in the back. If this enough? You have to remember to take impedance rise into account to, unless you mean 3800 clamped, you will never see the full 3800 unless your final impedance is way below what the amplifier is rated at. I have a friend on here, Freakout. He ran a Sundown 4500D which is rated 4500 watts rms at 1 ohm at 12.6 volts, and has been recently clamped by a member on here doing 5600 watts at I believe also 12.xx volts at exactly 1 ohm. Anyhow he is nominal impedance was 0.7 ohms, he rose to a reactive load of 3.67 ohms which only gave him 2600 watts rms clamped, which is way below 5600 watts and even 4500 watts. Although 2600 watts rms clamped at 3.67 ohms is pretty nuts considering that Sundown rates the 4500D to put out 900 watts at 4 ohms..... Anyhow I think you should be pretty good with doing what I said above there!
