doubleD Posted May 5, 2011 Report Posted May 5, 2011 I have a stock alt and a Ohio 240 alt ...one battery up front and two in back...need someone to show me the best way to wire these...with the least amount of headlight and Gage dimming ....IV got two AQ2200...
Bumpindemlowzz Posted May 5, 2011 Report Posted May 5, 2011 If your worried about headlight dimming get HID lights. The "Big Three" helps but not much. But dont forget the underlying issue voltage, get the proper amount of batteries/alternators and it'll help alot. With your system i would have a ho alt with the highest idle rating i can find and 2-4 group 31 batts 2010 Silverado 18" DC XL 18 DC 2k XS Power Batts
doubleD Posted May 5, 2011 Author Report Posted May 5, 2011 Well I have two VMAX charge tanks in the back..and I have a bunch of 4/0 wire I haven't used yet..so would those two alternators be enough ..
