dual alternators

do you have to match amp output on dual alternators or can u run a stock and a highoutput to

u dont need to match amp output, but u need to match the regulator to tell em to work together ie, at same voltage.

Forxample dc alternators have kits where they combine the stock with an aftermarket alternator.

There are also aftermarkert voltage regulators which can be used... then things get really funny
