cgrez33
So I'll be doing a short build log for a buddy of mines. He wanted a system which would keep him under the $700 budget. He's never had one before and was happy with his 6x9's, until I convinced him to try one out. Little does he know he'll be bit by the audio bug like the rest of em'. Right after receiving my alternator, UPS showed up. I awkwardly stared out my window anticipating what the driver could possible be getting. To my surprise it was gear! Equipment. Subwoofers: Two Alpine Type-R D4Ω Amplifier: One AP1500.1 Wiring: Off brand RCA cables, KNU Power/Speaker Wire. ----------------------------------------------- The design. Net:3.8 ft³ Tuning Freq:34 hz Port Area: 61.75 in² Will post more pics of vehicle. Later on! Edit: Design is credited to GumbySmoke from DSBP. cgrez33
So today I woke up early and decided to begin working on the box. Mind you this is my first box build ever! I'm actually quite happy with the results. I decided to throw on its first coat of primer today as well. The painting method I chose to do was: Sand>Primer>Sand> Primer> Sand> Final Coat> BIG ASS DRAGON. These are all rolled on no rattle cans here. Tomorrow I will most likely have finished the painting process, and complete the install! I'll keep it updated!
