I Recently did a build but I am running a pre-fab box (yuck). I wanna build something to make these things really pound for me. I am not sure what I wanna do exactly, I have a ported box right now but I have heard some bandpass set-ups and they pound. Not sure what anyone's recommendation would be but I wanna do this sooner than later. If you could give me an Idea that would be great.

HERE is the link to my build log with all my equipment.

HERE is all the specs on my subwoofer's (dual 2ohm)

bandpass is nice... if you get the math right... more output with less power...

downside... generally bandpass boxes are large...

if this will be your first built box... ill recommnd to just build a regular ported box... the port area of your prefab box is soo small...

if you like low bass.. tune to 30hz... personally thats too low for me... 34 to 36hz is a nice freq to tune at...

search for Torres box calculator... that will help you with calculations...

My first truck... My first Real build...

2. Reliable

Its not my first box build, and the manual gave me specs on a bandpass enclosure with will fit my needs, so I might try that. It should be tuned to around 30 hz so I'm hoping to be able to hit around 140 after im all done, I guess we will see
