Question about some 6.5" Speakers

Hey guys whats up, I have a 1995 Civic ex. Yada yada yada look in my sig.

I bought the poineer 6.5" speakers listed here:

for 80$ at best buy about a month ago.

Lemme tell you THESE THINGS ARE LOUD.

I also bought the Soundstream SC-6T Component Speakers listed here:

for probably about the same 50-60$

It is interesting because the Soundstream speakers are rated at 80rms and the Pioneer are rated at 35rms with a 220watt max.

Currently both sets are running off the headunit which puts out I beleive 20rms x 4 channels

The Pioneer speakers, although rated much lower RMS are I would be willing to say almost twice as loud and sound CRYSTAL CLEAR. I would assume this is mainly because of the extremely wide range of Frequency of 37 Hz to 25 kHz and the soundstream have a Frequency of 70 Hz to 20 kHz

Would this make them significantly louder?

I am also wondering, if I were to put a quality amp on these or even a lower class amp and make sure NO clipping occurs, would the Soundstream Speakers be much better or would the Pioneers still be great?

Do you guys think I could put more than 35RMS to the Pioneers? Since they handle 220w MAX Maybe I can apply 100rms to them without blowing them?

Looking to make the car a bit louder, and liked the Pioneer quality, but at 80$ per pair I didnt wanna buy up some more... But now I see em for 45$ shipped.

Unless you guys know of better 6.5"s to put in the front doors for about 50$ per pair? I figure thats cheap for a pair. But I am looking to get them pretty loud as well as keeping the clarity of these Pioneers, its almost like the Pioneers in the rear overpower the Soundstreams in the front and you can barely hear the soundstream.

What do you guys think?

I was running some Orion cobalts that are rated at 50rms I think and was putting 100+ to them. They didn't blow when o had them in their, but only RAM them for three months. I would not worry about the max rating, just go with the rms rating and base off that

Yeah, most Orion speakers are pretty decent. I am just wondering why these Pioneers are significantly louder than the Soundstreams

But I am seeing what the best option would be whether to get an amp that will put out 75rms to the Soudnstreams and see how they perform or get some new Pioneers.
