You're looking at a good portion of that going towards a decent quality mixer. I will def check them out Eh, you're better off staying away from Best Buy, they'll more than likely overcharge you. I got a quote on two ELX112P 12" loudspeakers & 2 ELX118P 18" subwoofers for around $2400, which gives you room for a small mixer & some EQ. If there's a warranty from the manufacturer, then that's fine. But no need for a dealer "warranty", there's not much they can do anyways. Quote POTATO!
