Leboy23
I have a pioneer 9800bt deck and the other day it just started sendind feedback through all the speakers. I thought maybe the rca's went bad so I changed them didn't fix it. Put another deck in and the problem went away. Anyone know what could cause that deck to do that. It is only about six months old. 2012 Nissan Altima SL DC M2 Lvl 3 12" with AR cone DC 1.2K Amp Kicker Sum8 Kicker 4 Gauge amp kit XS Power D2700 1.5 Cubic ft net tuned to 38Hz

Leboy23
rca's are about three foot away from my power wire. It's a whining sound, not engine noise. Still does it when the car is off. I'm pretty sure it's the hu and i just need to send it off to get it fixed. Thanks for the help. 2012 Nissan Altima SL DC M2 Lvl 3 12" with AR cone DC 1.2K Amp Kicker Sum8 Kicker 4 Gauge amp kit XS Power D2700 1.5 Cubic ft net tuned to 38Hz
Guest
the pico fuse blew. pioneers are notorious B.I.G about that. its a simple fix, really. take a piece of bare speaker wire and wrap it around the outside of the RCA's and then screw the end(s) of the wire into a screw on the headunit chassis. problem solved
