Time to make this part fit. Here was the first rough cut.IMAG0147.jpg

Wedged it in to get a better idea of fitment

After some measuring (largely before today) it looked like this hole was in the proper place. So, I planned to use it for my horizontal fitment. So, the goal was to force it to make a perfect circle

Found an extender that fit almost perfectly to help

A bunch of cutting and grinding and fitting later, came up with this. My horizontal fitment looked good, but woe on me for believing that hole was perfectly placed. Looks like its a bit off vertically when its actually put in place. Silly repro parts.

Close enough. With this many gaps that needed cut perfectly and this being the furthest off one, im happy. Welding will fill it.

Fit some pieces on to do some measurements to make sure everything will line up correctly in the end.

Been quite the busy, but progress that I can show on pictures has been minimal. Been doing a lot of blasting, a lot of shaping, plenty of measuring, and a decent amount of welding.

Not completely welded in, but all secure
