Baydestrian
Here's the rundown; 99 Caddy with stock Bose, got beat put in about 2 years ago after I got it. Since its Bose I couldn't run the front door speakers with the aftermarket headunit so I've just been running the front dash center 3.5 and tweets and the rear door 6x9s. Always had to have my sub level up to +3 or +5, 0 was ok but lacked bass. Got my RF 1652-S comps put in on Tuesday(no amp though) so I no longer have the 3 dash speakers running, just the comps and the stock 6x9s. I thought they re-tuned the amp (since I turned off bass boost & the SSF) but I checked and it's the same as before but now the sub level at 0 on my deck sounds as if it were at +3, also I don't think I get headlight dimming any more, haven't really paid attention for sure. Maybe I'm crazy but it seems like ditching those 3 speakers improved my bass LOL. Loudness and Bass Ext is turned off. Also can anybody give tips on some good settings? Bold is what I have now: Bass: Frequency:40/50/60/70/80/100/120/150 Hz Q-Factor: 1.00/1.25/1.50/2.00 Bass Extend: On/Off (when this feature is set to "On", the low frequency response is extended by 20%) Level: -8 to +8 [0] Mid: Frequency:0.5/1.0/1.5/2.0 kHz Q-Factor: 1.0/2.0 Level:- 8 to +8 [2] Treble: Frequency:10/12.5/15.0/17.5 kHz Level:-8 to +8 [4] 2015 Mazda 6 JVF Customz 4.0 Proto 15>Wolfram W4500 @ .5ohm 2 Sundown Neo 6.5 + 2 CT Meso Tweeters (Front) x Kicker KS6.5 (Rear)>JL Audio VX400/4i NSB-AMG35 (front) / 40ah Lithium Headway (Rear) built by Erni Audio & Electrical
