SGTSKIP
Great idea on the fans, too many installs dont use that easy and cheap idea. I have an idea for you, you have 2 fans that are bigger than the other 2. Use one big and 1 small on each side so the output will match and wire them in opposite so that you one side will pull air in and the other side and push it out. Ive done it for years Is the box for the 18 going to cover the fans? Does this smell funny to you? Its your sister

Mrop
Great idea on the fans, too many installs dont use that easy and cheap idea. Use one big and 1 small on each side so the output will match and wire them in opposite so that you one side will pull air in and the other side and push it out. Ive done it for years Is the box for the 18 going to cover the fans? it will be like this: i will switch fans 1good 1 bad to each side like you said. i was thinking of doing it at first place, but i tend to forgot things while i do stuff also for now there is enough holes under to get the air needed, but when i dynamat this b*tch there won't be any air to replace, so fans won't work that well. then i will change the fans to the right ones to suck in and left ones to blow out. left ones are the nearest to both amps so the heat will be there. box is going to be roughly in centimeters: 50x47x100 on the outside, inside 45x42x95, so it is 179litres big, and with driver displacement and port displacement we are talking about something like 150 to 165litres internal volume. i haven't calculated it yet. i will measure it precicely. the box (shown in red) can be opened when the box is in, there will be 5 to 7 cm space between the enclosure and the box's edge. Mrop
updates! i remade the bassknob to fit in original VOLVO's panel break it open not that big gief some knife into the panel easy! some glue and let it stay overnight. if you glue and pop it in the glue will fume itself and make a CSI -trick where your fingerprint's grease will go white. i let it dry in peace, don't want to have white fingerprints all over my car some clamps will help it to glue in next day: still works! cool. i might rip off that "MAX/MIN" sticker, but it will do for now then i made RCA -reader cable. so i can sit in front seat with DMM and turn up volume meanwhile the wire is hooked into SUB AMP's RCA. also installed a relay at back so the fan's don't take their positive from radio's RMT radio controlls the relay and +12V comes from the back battery. then i did a datasheet from my headunit to find out where it disorts. i played song: 50Hz -5DBFS so it is +2dB lowder than normal song. DATA! there is Voltage from RCA, and dB / volume, so everytime i turn up volume i took the voltage from RCA, so when the raise of voltage is not 2dB or 1dB compared to the last one the signal starts to disort. so i can play music with 30/35 whitout disortion. i gotta find a -6DBFS 40Hz song. but can't find. www.peranurkka.net

SGTSKIP
Damn that looks nice man, cant wait to see it installed. Back to the fan post.... use the fans Closest to the amps to pull air in as the outside air will be cooler than the air already inside the amp rack. I've seen a few degrees difference in swaping the order of push pull Have fun Does this smell funny to you? Its your sister
