N0CELL0 Posted June 7, 2011 Report Posted June 7, 2011 Alright, this is my first post on the SMD Forum, so bare with me if I come off as a "n00b". I'm working on my first "major" (in my case any way) build. I've got everything down-packed so far and I haven't had to post for any "help", until now. I've read the "Wire/Fuse Guide" that's been pinned, but I'm still a little confused about what I should do. I made this chart showing what I have so far: But my question is this: Where should I put fuses? What size should those fuses be? Should I fuse the amps individually? Should I just fuse the buss bars? After reading what everyone has said in the forum posts, I have no idea at this point.

JustinWilson Posted June 7, 2011 Report Posted June 7, 2011 you have each fuse going to a separate tab so that the fuse rating does not change. fuse your incoming power with a 300a, and each outgoing to the t2500's with a 300a each, 200a for the t1000-4, and a 150a for the t600-2, then finally! fuse the incoming from your D680's with a 300a fuse. Make sure to use wire than can safely carry more than a 300a current. In the RF manuals that came with the amps, it says the following: T2500 - 300A T1000 - 150A T600 - 150A But I was thinking just fuse everything at the buss bars using 4 300A.
