spl4life Posted June 9, 2011 Report Share Posted June 9, 2011 with only 1000watts you should be fine with a stock alt... like it was stated earlier.. do the big 3. and get a good battery.. that will help alot with dimming... there is a ton of info on this forum.. you jus got to dig around... welcome to the SMD... Added a front bumper after a deer decided to play chicken Added some rock lights, $9 7" driving lights w/ HID swap Toyota FJ emblem & repaired broken grill from deer accident Finally mounted my hi-lift Bedlined my rear bumper, toolbox, mirrors, flares, and small strip of the body, inside door jambs, sliders PIcked up a set of Hertz DCX 165's for 40 bucks Traded my L7 back to the guy i got it from for a SA-8 cause of space issues Built a fiberglass box for the sa8 Now for some pics: Deer carnage And this is what it rode around looking like for a week or so before the bumper got finished Also while i waited on the bumper i did all the painting: Hi-lift mounted up and this pic also shows the storage box i built and bedlined to hold all my recovery gear: Heres the bumper: Rock lights and 7" HID converted driving lights, fixed broken grill, painted it black and added emblem BUILD Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
