scfaust Posted June 9, 2011 Report Posted June 9, 2011 ok well i had some diffrent boxes to chose from i got the cheap wood for free to build it to make sure it would sound good. if it dont ill go a diffrent rought with the box. but if it does sound good, should i rebuild it with mdf instead of the partical board that i used. i am going to glass the inside just resin some mesh at the corners or should i just rebuild it. i think when i glass it it will sound the same way as if i used mdf or a diffrnt wood cause no matter what both boxes would be glassed so wouldnt it be the same thing? and i got the wood for free so that why i used it. http://i720.photobucket.com/albums/ww203/scfaust1/alphadamp.png

It's up to you but I would build up a new one. nickers Posted June 9, 2011 Report Posted June 9, 2011 Don't use particle it's not as strong as NSF and considering you have four subs it's not like you're just slapping together a test box.
