roony4000 Posted June 9, 2011 Report Posted June 9, 2011 I was with my friend yesterday and he was dropping me of at my house and we were bumping on his Polk audio 10s powered by a kicker 300.2 I think. We took a corner and his subs stopped playing. Nothing smelt burnt at all. We thought the fuses blew. So we changed amps to a rf 600 today and still nothing works. The music plays of his door speakers powered by a crunch. The only thing I am thinking is something with the deck or the kicker amp and the RF amp both have blown fuses. Also he doesn't have terminals on his wire which is 8 awg by monster cable. Can you guys help me out Cause I would feel like shit if I blew his amp.
1sickpuppy Posted June 10, 2011 Report Posted June 10, 2011 Check the ground cable where it's connected at the chassis. If that's loose disconnected neither amp will play. Also check the RCA's at the deck those may have come loose. Hope this helps? Also look at the speaker wire it could have come loose. Rebuild Log with the SMD CURRENT..
