splmark Posted June 11, 2011 Report Posted June 11, 2011 I got some 1,2 and, 4ga welding wire from work. I can do two power runs with the 1 ga and two ground runs with the 2ga. Will this be ok if I also ground the 2ed battery in the back? I have a 220 amp powerbasterd alternator deka 34/78 agm under the hood and g31 in the back. It will power a jbl gto24001 and gto1004. TheyDontWantMusic Posted June 11, 2011 Report Posted June 11, 2011 yeah, that'll be fine. you could use one 1ga, and one 2ga for positive, and one of each for negative, but I reckon two 1ga for positive, and use the chassis and two 2ga for negative will be "better" but in no measurable way
