I have run out of time for today but i'll have pics up tomorrow of the progress so far. Tomorrow i have to get the amp mounted and installed and then get the Re Audio SE-X 12's in to the box which i had to already modify to get them in there. I'll have pics up tomorrow like i said. Might even have to do me a UBL just for this build. I hope ya'll like it and if ya don't then GFY. southern66ss Posted February 26, 2013 Author Report Share Posted February 26, 2013 So from what i'm hearing i'm more than likely still going to have to break down and build a new box for these subs. the box they are in is dual chambered so that each sub is alone and doesn't affect the other. with the back seat out of the car it gets very loud and moves good air but with the seat back in (seat doesn't fold down..yet!!!) it gets low but not loud. Anyone have any idea's what is going on. subs are facing rear of car as are the ports and box is 36x16.5x16.5 with ports being 15x1.5wX14.25D on one side of port being that it is using one of the outside walls of the box for outside wall of the port. I have no idea where to start with a box design for these subs. I know what the specs are from RE but i have never built a box on my own per say. I have helped cut and glue them together. the width of the has to say as it is at 36" b/c thats as wide as i can get in the car but as for the height i would really like to drop it down to say 15" to get it under the back shelf in the car behind the back seat. as far as depth goes, i could go as much as 24-26" and still not be on top of the amp. if you know of any idea's i would appreciate the help. I know i would like to get it into the low 30's hz range but as before i have no idea where to start, lol.
