MECHMAN Posted June 20, 2011 Report Share Posted June 20, 2011 Unfortunately an AVBM would not be compatible with the stock alternator. The stock unit is externally regulated by a regulator mounted in the ECM. If you purchase one of our 220 amp Large case conversion kits, it will bypass the external regulator, and includes the AVBM already built in.
