mzenon88 Posted June 28, 2011 Report Share Posted June 28, 2011 So I scraped my t1 bandpass idea it was pretty but not enough balls for me ha so I sold the t1s and ordered me a aq 18. My box plans are 18x37x20 port is gonna be 12x5 and 15 long that's 60 sq in of port putting tuning around 38 so this is my first time using a driver that big any input on box size do I need more than 6 cubes less? RAM_Designs Posted June 28, 2011 Report Share Posted June 28, 2011 It looks like what you have planned right now is ~5.25ft^3 with a ~38hz tuning. The issue is that the box is a little small, s well as the port. I think you'd be happier going with 6-6.5ft^3 with a ~35hz tuning using 80-90in^2 of port.
