eric78702
I was wondering if it would be okay to leave 3 inches between the box and hatch instead of 4 inches and if I would loose any db by leaving 3 inches and not 4?
fecupe2001
Every car and application is different, 3 inches might be wrong or not, my explorer get louder with box around 8" away while my swift it´s louder every inch i get the ports closer to the hatch, that rule doesn´t apply in my car, i use 6" PVC ports and the box is about 3.1/2" from the hatch Now, if you are using a port back box and the box is way to tall, it might choke a lot! I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains.
