suckmyAlpine Posted July 5, 2011 Report Posted July 5, 2011 I was wondering if it would be beneficial at all to have the port go through the back deck of my car. I was thinking of making the port come up through the back deck where the back window meets the seats. If it would be worth the work i will do it but i thought i would get some opinions from the forum. Thanks for any help!! Quote
**Hollywood** Posted July 5, 2011 Report Posted July 5, 2011 What are u running for gear ? And car ? Quote
suckmyAlpine Posted July 5, 2011 Author Report Posted July 5, 2011 The car is a 1996 buick regal. The gear is an 18 inch fi bl with a sundown 1500d. The trunk is huge so i will be able to get a little over 8 cubes out of it. Quote
stipek Posted July 5, 2011 Report Posted July 5, 2011 Some have taken out the rear deck speakers and let the sound into the cabin that way bouncing off the rear window sending it forward. **Hollywood** Posted July 5, 2011 Report Posted July 5, 2011 Try the removing of rear speakers first , it's easy and no cutting ;-) Quote
suckmyAlpine Posted July 5, 2011 Author Report Posted July 5, 2011 would that be worth the extra work. Would i see a difference from just having the port firing towards the rear of the car? Quote
94retta(219) Posted July 5, 2011 Report Posted July 5, 2011 A 4th order with the port coming threw the rear deck would be well worth it. Quote BUILD LOG
