thajoker85 Posted July 6, 2011 Author Report Share Posted July 6, 2011 If you'd like to stick with Rockford Fosgate for subwoofer amplifiers, you can look into getting two 2500bdcps per sub, would come out to around $3200. If you have the electrical to support them, any of the amplifiers I've mentioned should work well with the SMD18s, they are all from reputable companies. ok now im a believer in the 70-80% range of max recommended power(3500 smd)those amps put out 3k alone so wouldnt it be safer to go with 2 1500's per sub or maybe 2 2500's total! reason being im setting it up for a daily setup(thou it wont be driven daily and ive never went over on the max rms in my own car). so i just wanna know how that would treat the subs in that type setup.
