box build help for orion hcca 12"

hi, change of plans ive tryed tuning my own box without flairing the port could anyone check? specs follow

tuned to 29.60hz after displacement

width 38"

hight 25.75"

depth 17"

port inner diamensions

hight 15.5"

width 4"

lenth 20.25"

3 common port walls

using .75" mdf

if anyone could tell me if it will be any good or bad let me know before i build it, also could anyone do a sketch?

got my old box I had for my 12.2. U want it you can come get it lol it's 32w x 19d x 16t 4" port If I remember right was 2.4 after and tuned to 42ish Hit a 140.6 at 37hz in trunk of 97 lumina on about 1500w nothing sealed just in the trunk haha

yea would make it kinda hard. haha Box i have now is one we did for my new car (tiburon) which is a hatch, so I don't think new box would help u much. If you still want em tho I can find out for you. My previous box was right around what u want it at, Maybe a lil bigger pending on how much room you have to deal with.

yes bigtime haha, oh right i just want to build one but need help on size and tuning feq i do love the lows my old one was 3.5cuft tuned to 32hz but dont realy want to tune it higher as it wont hit the low notes.

ive had another go with the box calulator now that ive figured it out lol, specs are 4.5cu ft tuned to 30hz with 4"w x 15"h x 27"L port does that sound good to you??

i will fit 2x 45's each end and make the (L) on the port a 45 piece in there then flair the exit 30mm or so to flow the air

Give me the dimensions that you have for the box and i'll see if I can get u a few designs drawn up. And are you just wanting it for daily music or comp? Also if you want it for comps knowing what your car peaks at would help out a lot. I've got some ideas cause that's a hatch if i'm not mistaking, right?

sweet that would be a big help, max hight 18" max width 38" and max depth 38" so alot of room but not sure how meny cubes or tuning would suit my needs i love the lows though haha.

its a daily but want it loud as poss for propper droppers bb1 extreme at the shows, im ment to be testing it this month so ill post the scores and the peak on here.

Hate to be a downer but 150 with one 12.2 on only 1.3k is not gonna hit it I don't think. Especially with how low you're wanting to tune it. I've got my current setup on around 3k and only getting a 141.9 at best in my tiburon. Granted your car is much smaller so it should hopefully pull some decent numbers. I've got some sketches drawn up and i'll pm you with information and u can go from there
