matt402
i contacted diamond today. an the verdict is...... the amp will default to the setting at which the knob is at when unplugged. which i find this to be very weird. however i will soon find out. they did suggest the LC-1 by pac as a main knob. which was a nice thing to hear. NEUMAN Seems like you talked to a noob. If the bass knob is not connected then the amp goes by what the gain is set at. This is how all amps work, and you need to set your gains even with a bass knob anyways so you dont run into clipping territory when you turn the knob up. x2. set ur gain with the knob all the way up also. soundcheck11
For 2 amps, that Pac-Audio knob is great. I had 3 amps I wanted on one knob- so, I just ran 3 wires from the amps bass knob hook ups, cut them all on the other end, soldered the 3 bass wires pairs together (3 sets of cat-5e), soldered another cat-5e wire to those pairs and coupled it to the bass knob wire with a quick disconnect. Works great. so pretty much you spliced them together all to one knob? I was wondering the same thing.
