HID Pictures & Questions

i was readin in here but it really didnt say anything about this but are the xenon bulbs any good? im just wondering because i dont have the money for the "real" hids and just wonderin if they are worth the money. They have alot of cheap sets on ebay so what would be a good brand of them?

those zenon bulbs are crap, i used those for a while before i got my hids and although they say they are brighter they arent. the road in front of me looked blue but not bright enough, almost like i was running just foglights. The only good thing is that they give your car a blue/white color in the headlights but visibility sucks. plus you also run the risk of melting you harness or lens.
