re audio xxx components

im interested in trying a pair of re 6 1/2 inch components have anyone heard them or is they worth it

never heard the re comps but i have the xxx comps and enjoy them.

Better can be had for the money I suppose but they can take some abuse and play lower than a lot of mids.

The tweeters can also be played low if you're running active.

Just really really have to make sure you mount the mid somewhere SOLID as hell or you're going to lose output. also make sure you have enough room to even fit the mid in your door.

Also, the tweeters can only be flush mounted so make sure you have an area where the will fit as well. They sound great off axis and have a curved outer housing for that purpose.
