JBLEEZE33 Posted August 4, 2011 Report Share Posted August 4, 2011 If i have a smaller size fuse in my distribution block than the amount of total amps of fuses that are built in to the amp will the amp get hot becuase my fuse in the distrib block is only letting so many amps through(if that makes any sense lol).. my amp has 4 25amp fuses in it and my distrib block only has a 60 amp fuse.. just installed it and the amp gets hot with plenty air space.. thanks please help me.. CleanSierra Posted August 4, 2011 Report Share Posted August 4, 2011 That's weird, I could see it maybe getting hot with a 2 ohm load, but not with 4 ohms. Maybe it's just the amps charateristic to run warm. And it's only running 100W RMS, you shouldn't need a monster fuse in the block for it. Quote Im not the one you want to try to troll.
