i was giving my opinion on the SMDs in comparison to another sub...get off your high horse.

if you want a non DC "biased" answer i put 2 DD 9518s in there and blew away the SMDs as well

fine how about how we did a comparison in a box built for an SMD by Ric at PCA. the SMDs on 2 DC 5ks strapped at .75 did a 151.5. we hooked a Neo to a SINGLE 5k at .5 (because i couldnt strap the 5ks at .5) and it hit .6 below the SMD in its own box...over half the power in a box designed for the SMD and the Neo was only .6 down...yea i think in a ratio of power to power the Neo got it.

whats your beef...if someone doesnt agree w you or say what you want their wrong, or a nut hugger.

all in all the SMD sounded great...especially on the lows but like i said unless your pushing a shit ton of power to it you can get louder w a dif sub. i have nothing against the SMD....Trippis Hummer sounded GREAT w them and i wished he never gotten rid of them...you could blast them all day w out any worry in the world except the cops being called or the truck running out of gas
