Experience on 8th orders?

I just built 4 calculator for those 8th order formulas and its giving me chamber volumes from .67 to 30 cubes, for a single 15, and freq ranges from a 7hz band to a 90hz band.

and one design called for a chamber tuned to 6hz then one to 200hz then one to 35hz.

ive checked all the formula entries, but the only thing that could be wrong would me my reading of the forumula since its on several different lines

the butterworth seamed to have more realistic tuning expectations and a nice pass band, but it did want chamber 2 to be 19 cubes and chamber 3 to be 17 cubes

Wow, that's alot of jumpin around with the volumes of the chambers.

What is butterworth? I've heard about it a few times & seen it alot in enclosure designing calculators.

what the 180 cars use. here in aus the volvo is 8th order.. doing 170s lol but think the port ends up being basically where the mic sits? or fires at it lol some shit i don't remember.

It was just one of the filter forms to give me some of the numbers,
