I was looking at a 98-2001 durango or a 99-2000 LS 400 so im open to anything really. I would like some opinions and thoughts they will be greatly appreciated! See you can run a trunk car, and try for the infamous 150 (some people have been successful at this) or you can wall the car off. With a SUV you are putting the enclosure in the same area that the mic will be in. Sooooo, it is relitivly easier to get bigger numbers out of a SUV rather than a trunk. Personally if your wanting to get loud I would do a SUV. So really it comes down to A) every vehicle has it's own challenges and B ) What challenges are you wanting to over come. I know it really didn't answer any questions you had, instead probably raised more. BUT, this is the thing that keeps alot of people on this forum building and always chasing new goals. Unless you like a challenge or to struggle id go with a hatch or a SUV as well. Many comps dont have a class for trunk cars either so if you plan to compete most of the time you will be at a big disadvantage. Loudness is no substitute for musicianship, and partial deafness is no badge of honor. I was once able to hear this advice.
