Johny B
I have a BMW that has 5.25 in the kick panel and 5.25 in the rear deck. Also comes with a place for tweeters in the doors. I have an Alpine mrp f600 (100rmsx4) I want to use alpine type r components (100rms) in the front and alpine type r coaxials (90rms) for the back. I beleive these speakers are perfect for my amp. Anybody know how loud they can get without distortion? Also anybody know any other speakers with the power to handle what my amp can give them for a cheaper price?? Guest
no one can tell you how loud they can get. theres only one way how. and as far as speaker brand recommendations go, rockford fosgate is my choice. they sounded MUCH better than my polk audio db series (much too quiet for the power given) , my infinity reference series (way way WAY too harsh), and my mb quart discus series coaxials. Johny B
I have been thinking of Rockfords but haven't seen any that ca handle 100rms for the price or cheaper than the type r's. Haven't really searched too much thou lol Maybe my thought is way wrng but the way I see it is the more rms power for a speaker the better. Is there more to it? 06 Chrysler 300 Pioneer avh-x8500bhs Hertz Hsk 130.4 Alpine mrp-F600 2 Dc level 4 12s Dc 2k Viper 5901 SHCA wiring KnuKonceptz RCA's SecondSkin/Fatmat Big 3-stock alt
teamace24
Dont the fosgate T1 coaxs and comps handle 100rms? What about the Powerbass 3XL-6502, personally never tried them but i too narrowed my search down to alpine type r and fosgate T1 just dont get many comments. By the way the powerbass can handle up to 125 rms so ive read. 1st Setup(SOLD):2007 GMC YukonPioneer Avic F90bt Audiocontrol Epicenter2 Audioque SDC2.5 15 subs8.7 cubes at 37hz build DONEAudioque 1200d (Audioque 1200d Sold, similar performance to my ap1500)Diamond Audio Hex 6.5 Mids n TweetsCerwin Vega Exl 400 4 channel Bridged(also have MTX 4004 not being used)1 Run of power Knu Fleks 4 Gauge2 Cheap stock Battery setup2nd Setup (SOLD):2007 GMC YukonPioneer Avic F90bt Audiocontrol Epicenter2 15 Kicker cvx (maybe two SA 15 in future)7 cubes net tuned at 34hzAlphasonik Old school 1600rms (ap 1500d sold GREAT Budget amp)JBL 6.5 Power Series Components, Infinity Kappa 6.5 3 ways, and 2 Kicker KS Tweets (LOUD)Cerwin vega exl4001 run knu Fleks OFC 0 gaugeBig 3 done1 Odyssey 1500, 1 optima yellow top d31
