The units we sell by application are designed for your OEM pulley system. We will discuss this as an issue when the customer requests higher amperage than recommended.

Belt slip is the biggest problem with these units running the v-belt due to the load of the alternator on the belt. With the multi-rib belt the contact area is dramatically increased and can handle a much higher load.
