kwag415
So I have a Kicker L7 15" D4 sub with a TMA 1000.1 amp. heres the story the song switched and at the beginning of the song i hear a POP! and this scared me alot but it still sounds okay... but could this have harmed this... also a supperr question but what would be sure tell signs of the sub being wired backward?.... i was kinda "Medicated" but i dont think i went aggenst the #1 rule of thumb that the wire with writing is ground... :trippy: Quote 2001 is300Headunit: JVC KD-X50BTHighs/Mids: StockHigh/Mids Amp: NASubwoofer: DC Audio LV4 12"Subwoofer Box: DLDesigns Box tuned to 32HzSubwoofer Amp: AQ 2200DElectrical: NA Performance:SRT Racing intake with ECUHKS Super Dragger 2BC Racing Coilovers BC 264 stage 2 cams full head build with BC Valves, Retainers, and springs Dezod Green Race Header Comming soon/Thinking about<p>Electrical: XS power under the hood (Suggestions Welcome)Performance: BC Cams,Cam gears, maybe GTE Swap down the lineMy YouTube Channel Subscribe and i'll return the favor!Xbox Live Team Website. My First Official Box Build. My FacebooK
blankskater08
So you are saying you checked your ground? Have you checked your RCAs or the ground at the deck? Ive seen an old deck do this because the pre-outs were bad. blankskater08
I mean the ground at the amp. Im pretty sure what your hearing is some kind of signal...not the actual sub. IE: The bad RCAS, ground loop noise, pre outs, etc. But it wouldnt hurt to check how your sub is wired and to make sure its reading the right impedence.
