Stee-Z Posted September 7, 2011 Report Share Posted September 7, 2011 my gain settings for my aq 2200 were all set up, but i am sure the 9515 on the AQ 2200 should be louder, or at least hit harder, so today i went and "fiddled around" lol, but didnt really chang anything other than backing the gain down?! lol ok please help me where the gain settings should be Gain- 1/2 way up subsonic (10hz-20hz)- all the way down, so at 10.. i have no i dea where this should be at bass boost- offof course LPF- (20-200)- a little less than half way ok, so today i also played with the gain a tad... if you didnt know yet ive been having a problem with my box, 5ft3 @ 30hz... i forgot to seal the face of the baffle, so alot of air blows out. i still need to fix it and will, but when i was just turning the gain a little bit at a time, i got to just a little over half way, and this horrible shitty thwapping high noise comes out, could this be my box? it freaked me out so i turned the gain down more than i had it before, it should do that at just a little over half way should it? i can't really explain the noise but its just horrible and you would think also too lol. so question one- my gains set ok? or should i turn something up or down? ques. 2 - wtf is that noise, and is it just my box? i moved the post into the right topic lol XD (4)DD 9918's (2)DC 10k 8 6.5" focals 2 DD SS4 mid amps Audison Bit One processor Jl-cl-rlc line driver iPad in dash Dual Irragi 320a alts 8 batcaps 4000's Second Skin sound deadened Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
